Practice Areas

Marc A. Benjamin's primary focus is in helping families deal with all aspects of estate planning. Marc provides counsel for securing investment and business assets for the surviving spouse and children, minimizing and reducing estate taxes, formulating and implementing strategies for transferring wealth and protecting wealth and inheritances from outside claims.

His areas of experience and concentration also include trust and estate administration, advantageously structuring the ownership of newly created and acquired businesses, acting as general counsel to owners of closely held and family businesses and business succession planning. A certified public accountant, Marc is a former instructor of estate and gift taxes and income taxation of estates, trusts and decedents at the DePaul University Graduate School of Business.
